Saturday Nov. 14 '09

After a delay on my first flight from Oakland to Denver, missing my two following connections because of the delay, having to rebook all of my flights, almost having the airport loose my luggage, and having to arrive at the college this morning at 2 a.m. in the rain, I got to Connecticut college safely.
Today was filled with workshops varying from supplemental college essays to watching examples of mock interviews. I did learn a lot about the college and specifically about Connecticut College. Even though I have not taken the chance to look around the campus yet I have grown to like it more than I did at first.
Connecticut College has its freshmen take courses in all the areas from science to art, which is something I am looking for because I want to learn about everything and that way I can explore around and learn what it is I want to major in.
Overall the program coordinators and our hosts have been very friendly and helpful.
I really suggest to all students to apply to programs like this because it really helps to see a college up close and personal that might be your home for the next four-five years.
Before I came to Connecticut I has still unsure about applying and now I know I am definitely applying.
